Conventional oil is mineral-based and affordable; it protects your engine but needs more frequent changes. Synthetic oil is lab-engineered to flow better in extreme temperatures, resist breakdown longer, and often extend intervals between services-sometimes to 10,000 miles or more.

Your owner's manual specifies what your vehicle needs. Many GMC and modern vehicles benefit from synthetic. Bareford GMC offers ACDelco GM OE dexos(R) Full Synthetic and Mobil 1(R) Full Synthetic options, both with tire rotation included. Synthetic costs more upfront but can save money over time by reducing change frequency.

Unsure which is right for your vehicle? Our Service team can recommend the best option. Call (804) 445-2810 to discuss your oil choice or schedule service.
