## Beat the Heat

**Air Conditioning**
If your A/C isn't blowing cold, have it inspected and recharged. Summer heat makes a non-functioning system miserable and dangerous.

**Coolant & Radiator**
High temperatures stress your cooling system. Check coolant level, hose condition, and radiator for leaks. A coolant flush every 30,000-100,000 miles keeps things flowing.

**Battery**
Heat ages batteries faster than cold. Have yours tested; a weak battery is more likely to fail in summer than winter.

**Tires**
Heat increases tire pressure and wear. Check PSI regularly (inflate per your driver-door placard, not the tire sidewall), rotate, and inspect tread.

**Fluids & Belts**
Verify all fluid levels. Belts and hoses become brittle with age and heat; replace cracked or frayed ones before they snap.
