Extended service coverage gives you peace of mind beyond your vehicle's factory warranty. While GMC's new-vehicle warranty covers defects, an extended plan protects you financially if repairs pop up after that period ends.

**What's covered**
Extended coverage typically reimburses or covers repair costs for mechanical and electrical systems-engine, transmission, suspension, electronics. Coverage limits, deductibles, and what's included vary by plan. Our finance team can detail exactly what each option covers.

**Cost and value**
Plans range from a few hundred to over a thousand dollars depending on length and coverage breadth. If you keep your vehicle long-term or rack up high mileage, extended coverage can save significant money on unexpected repairs. If you trade in every few years, it may not pencil out.

**Maintenance vs. repairs**
Extended plans don't cover routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake pads). Bareford GMC's Service department offers maintenance packages separately, which are excellent for staying ahead of wear.

**Next step**
During financing, ask our team to explain options, costs, and coverage details. Call (804) 445-2810 to explore what makes sense for your driving and ownership plans.
